Vintage Base Layers - Neve

I recently came across an awesome vintage ski blog which has some really cool stuff on it. It introduced me to Neve - a brand I had never heard of before. Neve has a really nice collection of vintage inspired base layers and accessories. The collection would make a brilliant Christmas present for any ski enthusiast. I only wish they had a Verbier design!

The North Face - Top Stylish Picks

While browsing Nordstom (one of my favourite online stores) I came across some beautiful North Face ski jackets. I didn't realise that North Face produced jackets like this and I'm so happy they do! I love fitted, fur trim ski jackets but I feel you sometimes pay the price on quality. North Face are known for their quality and I have no doubt these jackets will withstand winter conditions for years to come - and they will do it in style.

Patagonia - Insulated Jackets

The other day I was delighted to find out that I will be kitted out in Patagonia gear for work. A lovely light blue insulated jacket and grey fleece. Will post a photo when I receive them! I hadn't been on the Patagonia website before but decided to give it a browse and I loved their puffa and insulated jackets. I would normally go for Rab when buying an insulated jacket but Patagonia has really impressed me! I've posted a few photos of my favourites below. Let me know if you have a Patagonia jacket, I would love to know what you think!

Ski Fashion - Headbands

Fuudhoods - Review

I recently came across a fun new brand called Fuudhoods. They make awesome headbands, hoods, and clothing which are great for skiing and après partying. I tested one of the headbands out in the snow and I absolutely loved it. It kept me really warm and I love the design. It's reversible so you can also wear it as a plain fur headband if you're feeling less adventurous. I was lucky enough to be able to ask the owner a few questions about Fuudhoods:

* Why the name Fuudhoods?

Fuudhoods came very simply from 'furry hood' = fuud.  We were sitting in the pub a few years ago and came up with the name which stuck.

* What's your favourite piece in the collection?

The feather mohawk hoods are my favourite.  I love the colour combinations and the feather mohawk - making a real statement on the slopes!! I cant wait to take one out with me in the new year!

 * Do you have a fashion background?

I've always been interested in fashion but i studied Fine Art at university and spent a few years as a professional showjumper.  The business started from the hoods and has grown organically since then, I'm a self taught designer.
